Microsoft’s team up with the ROG Ally to offer up a portable system geared toward those within its ecosystem might be taking pre-orders as soon as next month.
Ever-reliable leaker billbil-kun on Dealabs (via Pure Xbox) shared that we’ll likely get the chance of pre-ordering it on August 20, the same day Microsoft is set to share a ton of info at Gamescom. We also have the insider corroborating previous reports surrounding the handheld’s pricing.
Previously, its pricing in the EU was spurred on by fellow Xbox leaker eXtas1s before it was then accidentally by Asus themselves that the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X will cost €599 and €899 respectively. We have a little less than a month before Gamescom where Xbox seems to have quite the impressive booth planned.
