Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerXbox has rebranded its clunkily named Xbox PC to “Xbox on PC,” which admittedly isn’t that much better. It still just reeks of a weird marketing thing, which they literally do not have to do considering they basically corner the PC market, anyway.
As spotted by Tom Warren on social media, some games have adopted the “Xbox on PC” branding, with titles such as Grounded 2 and Age of Mythology: Retold — Heavenly Spear being specifically called out.
Now, rebranding isn’t that bad, after all, it’s still trying to figure out where it fits in this console equation. But, it will have to figure out a name sooner or later.
