Xbox has launched a new starter bundle in case you haven’t made the jump into the latest generation. Granted, we’d refrain from firmly calling the Series S a “current-gen” console, just like Remedy Entertainment’s Thomas Puha.
A bundle is always a pleasant thing when it comes to console launches and mid-gen refreshes or to just get more eyes on the console, but this just is about as barebones as you can get. As noted by Pure Xbox, this bundle is a standard Series S complete with three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
While Microsoft is launching a new starter bundle, Sony’s going through a pseudo-mid-gen refresh with the PS5 Slim, boosting its base SSD storage, and form factor. But hey, at least the bundle is only $299.99.
Read the official description of the new starter bundle.
