The Witcher 4 Is Targeting 60FPS, Even On The Series S

The Xbox Series S is going to prove to be a hurdle for CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 4, which the dev has confirmed will target 60FPS, even on console.

Speaking with Digital Foundry, CDPR’s VP of tech, Charles Tremblay, explained that the Series S will be “extremely challenging” likely due to the console being notably less powerful than its beefier big brother.

“This [the Xbox Series S version] is something that’s next on our radar, 60 FPS will be extremely challenging on the Series S.”

CDPR isn’t the first developer to lament their struggles with the Xbox Series S, with Alan Wake 2‘s Remedy Entertainment pointing out the struggles of working with it.
