People Can Fly’s Project Maverick Confirmed As Gears Of War: E-Day

People Can Fly has officially confirmed that its years-old codenamed project, Project Maverick, is indeed, what they’ve nicknamed their co-development of Gears of War: E-Day.

Spotted by XboxEra on the PCF’s Investors page, we can clearly see the confirmed co-developer of the title, labeling Maverick as Gears of War: E-Day.

For some, this is expected and a welcome revelation, but others may be disappointed that this wasn’t them getting their time to shine and fully develop a shooter game of their own.
