Game developer People Can Fly has been officially named Gear of War: E-Day’s co-developer. The Polish dev’s involvement isn’t too shocking.
Announced on PCF’s website, the studio has joined The Coalition to co-develop this next entry. Now, the studio has its roots in specifically Gears of War, with it acting as a co-developer of Gears of War 1-3 as well as the main dev behind Gears of War: Judgment.
“We are honored to return to the world of Gears of War, a franchise deeply embedded in our studio’s history. As lead developer of the iconic Gears of War: Judgment and co-development partner on Gears of War 1-3, we have always been passionate about the series and its legacy.”
The Coalition’s Mike Crump is calling this the return of “what makes Gears of War games special and authentic.” Considering the lack of any news surrounding the game, anything even loosely tied to its future is very exciting.
