Gears Of War: E-Day Xbox Series Controller Set For Announcement

It seems like XBOX is totally down for introducing special edition controllers to celebrate new first-party releases. Following the claim surrounding Diablo IV making its way to the Switch 2, it seems Billbil-kun has more up their sleeve.

According to a new report, XBOX is prepping to reveal a new controller donning Gears of War: E-Day colors. Under the name Storm King, the controller doesn’t have a proper release date yet, but is speculated to be at most two weeks out from its announcement.

Apparently, it’s also supposedly very detailed, complete with a crackled volcanic rock-like texture while the center buttons glow red while the iconic Crimson Omen surrounds them. From the sound of it, it’s gonna be a fantastic looking controller that will probably be the most homage paying controller XBOX has released in a good long while.
