Fable Will Take 20 Hours For Main Story Content
Fable’s main story can be wrapped up in about 20 hours with another 20 tacked on for side content. That doesn’t mean the fun is over, though, thanks to its life sim components.
In a Polygon report, associate game director Will Kennedy revealed the game’s length, but also noted it’s “limitless,” so people can play for as long as they want.
“We have around 15-20 hours of mainline quest gameplay, we have around 15-20 of side and open-world exploration content gameplay. And then, of course, the life systems are limitless, so you can play them for as long as you want.”
As someone who has played Fable II for hours after finishing the main story, I certainly hope whatever they fully have cooked up will keep players entertained.
Fable was going to release in Autumn of this year before being delayed to February 27, 2027. Playground Games asserted it wasn’t because of being scared of other big games, but they are glad to be out of that release window to a less chaotic one.
