Since its debut in 2020, it appears Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time has proven rather successful for both Toys for Bob and Activision Blizzard. This comes on the heels of strengthening Spyro 4 murmurs and TFB’s next project since splitting from its parent.
Design director Toby Schadt spilled the beans on LinkedIn (via Insider Gaming). Interestingly, this is dwarfed by the Spyro the Dragon Reignited Trilogy, which manifested 10 million sales. In the end, he dubbed it a “well-received sequel,” considering how starved fans are for more Crash, especially at the time, it’s not that shocking.
It launched to past-gen consoles in 2020 before getting the current-gen revamp in 2021.
