Xbox Owners Furious With Multiplat Rumors

With the strong rumor of Xbox exclusives heading to other platforms, staunch Xbox lovers are showing their distaste of the idea by saying “bye Xbox.” These outcries started as soon as the rumors started looking more and more like a reality.

Several long-time Xbox fans like Doc_Dark, Yung Kiryu, and Adapt have switched sides — albeit begrudgingly so — publicly on social media. At least Kiryu went the route of trading his games and console in and seems to be heading with the PS5 and PC route, saying he and Xbox had a “good run.”

We can’t say for sure what Xbox boss Phil Spencer plans on sharing later this week, but the rumors keep piling up, and releasing its games on any platform it can just makes sense in the long run, as like it or not, the Xbox Series X always plays second fiddle to the PS5, and in other countries, sometimes it’s constantly even in third place behind the eighth generation Nintendo Switch.

We’ll know more about what Xbox plans to do in the future later this week, but for now, fans and former supporters are left at the edge of their seat waiting to see what Microsoft is planning to keep the Xbox at least relevant in the long term.
