Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerIf you’ve got a broken Xbox, you’re in luck as Xbox has named its first Xbox service provider in the UK.
Currys locations are now authorized to offer repair services for broken Xbox consoles, according to Eurogamer. The electronic retailer already has an existing partnership with Microsoft, servicing their Surface laptops.
Stateside, though, they do have a partnership with uBreakiFix, with plans to certify 700 locations. Odds are this will heavily sway people with borked Xbox consoles from throwing them away and simply seeking a repair shop willing to fix it. Of course, getting said repairs done at authorized providers helps keep it within warranty, but we suspect this repair shop thing won’t be available everywhere.
