Toys For Bob Partners With Microsoft On Next Game

Quickly after splitting from Microsoft subsidiary Activision Blizzard, Spyro developer Toys for Bob seems to be partnering with the company on its next game. While scarce, we do know it will apparently be similar to the developer’s previous work.

According to Windows Central, the independent developer “reached an agreement” with Xbox to fund its next project. During a townhall, Xbox head Matt Booty noted that the two have finalized an agreement.

It isn’t clear what game it’s working on, but from statements from the outlet’s sources, but Booty kind of alludes to Spyro, which hasn’t gotten the Crash 4 treatment just yet. Though, if this is the case, it would still be under Activision Blizzard as both the legacy IPs are owned by Microsoft.

What do you think? Do you have hope a new Spyro game is in the works?
