As revealed by MP1st, the studio only confirmed that the deal was the studio and Hi-Fi Rush. It’s all too possible Microsoft could bring back The Evil Within, but we suspect fans won’t like it the same and would face a great deal of scrutiny, so it also might just leave the IP alone.
A similar fate could befall Ghostwire: Tokyo, which, while not as loved as the Japanese studio’s beloved horror IP, still has a place as a solid game with solid mechanics.
