Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerXbox exclusive, Replaced, is no longer releasing in 2024 as planned, citing too optimistic of a release date. The game was featured during the Summer Game Fest earlier this year.
On Twitter, developer Sad Cat Studios dropped the news that the game’s planned 2024 release was a bust, aiming for another shot next year. This isn’t Replaced’s first delay, though, as it was originally revealed all the way back in 2021 with a release scheduled for the following year that went belly up.
The game has a neat 2.5D cyberpunk pixelated side-scroller thing going on with the player able to explore full of combat and beauty. So far, Sad Cat’s kept tight-lipped about exactly when in 2025 the game aims to release.
