Rematch Dev Explains Why Crossplay Is Post-Launch

Sloclap has revealed more on why their upcoming multiplayer soccer game, Rematch, will not come packaged with crossplay at launch. In the end, it all boils down to inexperience and “technical complexities.”

In a blog post on their website, they detail how crossplay was something they were trying to do, but challenges arose during development and they couldn’t have the feature ready before launch. They are also aware of performance issues and are working on fixing them, as well.

Following crossplay and bug fixes, they are going to add “plenty of cool content and features” to Rematch in updates.
