“Memory Leak” Is Behind Black Myth: Wukong’s Xbox Release Delay

We now have a clue as to what is causing the ongoing delay for the Xbox Series X|S release of Game Science’s Black Myth: Wukong. No, it isn’t Sony paying them.

Xbox insider eXtras1 shed some light on the matter on Twitter, noting that they spoke with some Xbox insiders and developers about the game. Turns out, it’s facing a known bug labeled “Memory Leak,” which can have negative effects on your Xbox Series console as a whole.

Game Science is working on a fix for it, but aren’t sure how long it’s gonna take. All we can really say is this makes a ton of sense, before a game can make it through onto the Xbox marketplace, it needs to keep glitches to a minimum. If this bug is indeed the trouble for its Xbox release, we think it’s fair that it fixes the bug that could prove harmful to your system.
