Dragami Games’ Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is slated to release next year, but a lot is still in the shadows, but what we can say is the combat will be altered a little bit. This should still fall in line as a remaster after confirming the shift in direction earlier this month.
President Yoshimi Yasuda shared on Twitter (thanks, PSX Extreme) that Dragami plans on making modifications to the game’s combat to be more palatable for the “console action game players of today.” That’s to say, it plans on tweaking the speeds of fights, movement of the camera, its cheerleader sequences, and chainsaw combos to make the fights — likely talking boss fights — less sluggish.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is slated to be released in summer 2024.
