Halo Studios Gives Fan Game, Spartan Survivors, Green Light On Xbox

Every developer has their own way of dealing with fan games; some ignore them, some shut them down, and then there’s cases like that of Spartan Survivors, which on top of getting approval from Halo Studios, is heading to Xbox.

The game blends together “roguelite and bullet heaven” elements into one free fan-made package. Halo Studios praised the team’s passion. Spartan Survivors also confirmed on social media the game was greenlit to move forward in the Xbox ecosystem.

To make sure the game will always stay compliant, they requested us to add a minor update to the legal disclaimer in the game's credits & the store pages.

Now, though, to eliminate any confusion, the Halo dev and parent company Microsoft asked for changes to its legal disclaimer and store pages, which will be done in an update.
