While Indiana Jones and the Great Circle got snubbed at most big-name game events, that hasn’t stopped it from finding a good deal of praise within the gaming circle. Even God of War creator David Jaffe has sung its praises, labeling it as his Game of the Year.
Jaffe took to Twitter (via Tech4Gamers) to voice his opinion on the matter, noting that while it’s his favorite game of the year, it did come with the drawback of being slightly longer than it had to be.
Obviously, we at Xbox Nerds enjoyed MachineGames’ action adventure fare. In our review, we had this to say: “It’s not quite the most grandiose adventure by any means, but what we have here oozes “Indiana Jones” energy. Unlike tons of IP-plagued titles, MachineGames knew what they were doing and respected the source material well enough to keep both new and old fans happy.”
