Another month is coming, which means another slate of new games being added and removed from the Game Pass library.
The first wave of November titles come with nine new games, with three already out now.
Coral Island – November 14 (Cloud + Xbox Series X|S)
Released in early access on October 2022 by Stairway Games, Coral Island is a Farming Simulator with a tropical twist that lets players explore the seas as well as maintaining their own town. Reception up to this point has been positive, as many fans are eagerly awaiting the full 1.0 release. Might tickle the fancy of anyone who is a Stardew Valley fan.
Dungeons 4 – November 9 (Cloud + Console + PC)
Developed by Realmforge Studios, known for their Tropico series, Dungeons 4 is a dungeon management simulator with real-time strategy elements. a sequel the generally positively reviewed Dungeons 3 from 2017. The developers themselves describe it as “Dungeons 4 keeps the spirit of its predecessor, but everything is now bigger, better, and with even more dynamic Evilness.” Dungeons 3 had a charming style rife with light-hearted humor and fun management systems. Definitely keep your eyes on this if you like this style of game.
Headbangers: Rythm Royale – Out Now (Cloud + Console + PC)
Headbangers: Rythym Royal is a quirky rhythm battle royale game where up to 30 people play as pigeons to see who comes out on top.
Jusant – Out Now (Cloud + Console + PC)
Jusant is a climbing adventure game by the Life is Strange developer Don’t Nod Entertainment. With generally positive views thus far, Jusant tests your planning skills as you traverse a behemoth of a tower. With interesting biomes in a pleasant art style, this game can serve as a meditative experience mixed with all the high-stress games we’re playing these days.
Football Manager 2024 – November 6 (Cloud + Console + PC)
In the next installment in Sports Interactive’s long-running Football Manager series, football fans (or soccer fans here in the States) can build out the team of their dreams. Notably, both the console and PC versions are coming to Game Pass. Of note is that the PC version of Football Manager has been much more fleshed out than their console counterparts.
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased his Name – November 9 (Cloud + Console + PC)
A spin-off game in Sega’s legendary Like A Dragon series (previously known as Yakuza in the west), this installment will be set after Yakuza 6 and in between the events of Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. In a series that never fails to deliver, fans should rightfully be excited for this entry.
Spirittea – November 13 (Cloud + Console + PC)
Life sim fans should rejoice as Spirttea is another cozy life sim game that sees you explore the beautiful countryside of Japan as you try to write your book — but like all good games, things take a strange turn after you drink some local tea and start to see spirits. Now it’s your job to run a bathhouse while reminding the spirits of who they are. For those looking for a comfy game with adorable pixel art, look no further than Spirittea.
Thirsty Suitors – November 2 (Cloud + Console + PC)
Thirsty Suitors is a an RPG published by Annapurna Interactive, the same publisher that backed games like Cocoon, Stray, Neon White, and Outer Wilds. Thirsty Suitors takes place in the vibrantly colored town of Timber Hills where Jala, the main protagonist, finds herself in a bevy of interesting — if not head-scratching situation. Better yet here’s what the trailer describes it as — “Battle your exes, disappoint your parents, find yourself.”
Wartales – Out Now (Cloud + Console + PC)
Wartales is a well-received open-world turn-based RPG that came out earlier this year. This is a game that lets you explore the massive medieval world, recruit companies, and collect bounties. It’s worth a look for anyone that enjoys this kind of niche game.
Wild Hearts – November 9 (Cloud + Console + PC)
For Game Pass Ultimate subscribers, November brings Wild Hearts via EA Play. Inspired by Monster Hunter, Wild Hearts was reviewed decently well and brought its own twist to the monster-hunting formula. The monsters are interesting, the world is beautiful, and the combat is fun. More than worth the time for anyone itching for a hunting experience. That said, it is allegedly slashing support (thanks PSX Extreme), but what content is there is hopefully here to stay.
