Bethesda’s middling first-person shooter multiplayer romp, Fallout 76, set in the post-apocalyptic West Virginia is seeing its “highest engagement rate” in years on Xbox Series consoles. This comes as not only the hotly-anticipated Fallout TV show sparked interest in all games, but it’s also free on Prime Gaming.
Circana’s Mat Piscatella states on Twitter the game is seeing this feat with the most active daily percent of players since October 2022, which was also the last time it was offered on Prime Gaming.
According to Circana's Player Engagement Tracker, Fallout 76 is currently seeing its highest engagement rate on Xbox Series consoles (Daily % of Active XBS Players Playing) since October 2022.

Naturally, fans are rushing to previous Fallout games — like Fallout 4, which is getting a current-gen console version later this month — and with the show fresh on people’s minds, we aren’t shocked that it’s getting a lot of attention.
