Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerPerhaps unsurprisingly, Xbox confirms that the revamp of its Xbox classic Fable series has been slapped with a delay into next year. It was originally poised to release sometime this year.
During an episode of the Official Xbox Podcast, Craig Duncan shared that they’ve decided to give “Fable more time.” He promises “its definitely worth the wait.”
“We previously announced the date for Fable as 2025, we are actually going to give Fable more time and it’s going to ship in 2026 now. While I know that’s not maybe the news people want to hear, what I want to assure people of is that it’s definitely worth the wait.”
Developed by Playground Games, which has only ever done work on Forza Horizon games, it has left some skeptical, but at least we have some pre-alpha gameplay.
