2 Double Fine Games Are Leaving Game Pass This Month
A total of eight games are being pulled from Game Pass at the end of this month, but among them ones that were put out there by Double Fine Productions. In case you’ve missed the news somehow, the studio found themselves buying their way out of closure from XBOX not too long ago, releasing their first game since to Steam just last week.
The duo of games Double Fine made that are leaving the service are Day of the Tentacle Remastered and Full Throttle Remastered. Now, it puts into question other titles still available on Game Pass under the Double Fine banner, namely the game that largely put them on the map to many — Psychonauts — and the Grim Fandango Remastered.
I have a hunch that post-2019 games, those that the studio actually developed under XBOX, such as the sequel to Psychonauts, Keeper, and Kiln, are all probably going to remain available on Game Pass, but only time will tell.
The games will be pulled from Game Pass on October 31.
