Disney Dreamlight Valley is poised to exit early access later this year, but one distinct change is on the horizon. The game is set to launch across all plats on December 5, marking an end to its Early Access period.
A blog post on the game’s website indicates that it will no longer be free-to-play once the game officially launches later this year. The game will continue to offer free content updates for paying players, with the new model touted as the reason the game will continue to offer a “premium game experience.”
The game will, of course, continue its in-game currency at full force but promises to keep it “optional, fair, and match the level of quality players have come to expect.” The base Disney Dreamlight Valley will cost $39.99.
