Gabriel Stanford-ReisingerCD Projekt Red’s rocky launched hit, Cyberpunk 2077, appears to have an “Ultimate Edition” rated for Xbox Series X|S on PEGI. The listing no longer exists on the rating board’s website.
Reports surfaced on social media of what appears to be this new version of Cyberpunk 2077 with “Ultimate Edition” slapped on it. No doubt it would include its sole expansion, Phantom Liberty, and perhaps some minor tweaks, but at this point, it’s all a rumor.
On Thursday, a Q&A was held for investors where chief commercial officer Michał Nowakowski entertained the idea of a special edition, though said the company wasn’t sure what it would go by. Expectations were also tapered by noting the team may “adopt a new approach” than what we saw with The Witcher 3.
