Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III Features Very Short Campaign

Just about everyone buys the yearly release of Call of Duty for one particular reason — multiplayer. That doesn’t mean a single-player experience is always thrown out the window, but Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III appears to feature an absurdly short campaign.

Early access players report, as spotted by VGC, that even when taking things slow, the single-player campaign only lasts around three to four hours. Comparing it to its precursor, this is half the length of Modern Warfare II, which clocks in at around eight.

It’s worth pointing out that this short length is possibly due to Modern Warfare III being more of a continuation of its previous game rather than a new entry. This would make things a touch more palatable if it wasn’t for the fact we’re looking at a game that’s so ingrained in yearly releases that it threw together a short campaign just to package it in.
