“Big Thing” From Nightdive Is Happening At QuakeCon This Year

A Nightdive Studios staffer has teased that their “next big thing” will be at QuakeCon 2025.

Speaking to Giant Bomb, the staffer made this claim, but of course stopped short of giving fans any clues as to what it may be. Most people, though, believe it’s directly linked to Quake.

“Our next big thing will be at QuakeCon this year in August, like the last three years.”

Fans are speculating a remaster to Quake 4 or Quake 3 Arena, which would focus on multiplayer. Of course, it’s also possible to be something else entirely, but Nightdive has become kind of synonymous with remasters lately, with the just delayed (on console) System Shock 2 remaster being a perfect example.
