Some bittersweet news dropped for 7 Days to Die fans on Xbox as the Xbox One version is set to be delisted as its Xbox Series X|S counterpart heads our way. On the bright side, existing owners can still play it on the Xbox One, but no avenue is in place for upgrading versions.
On the official website, the team shared that the game is exiting Early Access. The post housed an extensive FAQ full of questions the team assumed fans would have, such as what that means for players on the old version, Game Pass status, and save compatibility.
In short, players will have to re-purchase the game on console, which will see a steep change in price, developer The Fun Pimps are working with Microsoft to try and provide a steep discount for existing players, though. In terms of its Game Pass status, by the end of the month, it will exit the service and has no plans on returning.
7 Days to Die is poised to release in July, so if you’re looking at getting it below the $45 it will bump up to, now’s your chance.
