Following Square-Enix’s showing of Final Fantasy XII, their tech demo of FFVII rendered via PS3, and their announcement of a 13th FF game in development for the PS3, Square-Enix also made an appearance at the Microsoft conference announcing their involvement with the big M’s new machine by releasing a version of Final Fantasy XI for it. This marks the third console that FFXI will appear on. The Xbox 360 port of the game will utilize the console’s hi-definition capabilities as well the upgraded Xbox Live. Details are still scarce regarding the ports, but word suggests that all previously released expansion packs will already be included in the 360 port.
